Three days of celebrations in a row, how decadent! Poland is inundated with national feasts at the beginning of May and we’re going to look at them in detail. Find out how Poland commemorates its Constitution Day (first constitution in Europe and second in the world!), why do so many Poles wave their flag on second of May and what do they do on May the first.
We’re also going to catch up with Jerzy Byczynski, the co-ordinator of British Poles campaign, who encourages more Poles living in the UK to get involved with the local politics and have their say.
Thursday 7th May – don’t forget that date, it’s time to cast your vote in the general election. Make it count.
And as usual the recent headlines form Poland, look at weird and wonderful news from around the world and teaching you a word or two of Polish.
