Poles Aloud Show – 26th & 28th April 2015

On the show today, we’re talking about the importance of your vote in the upcoming elections and looking at how the Polish community gets involved in the discussion on immigration. We spoke to Jerzy Byczynski, the co-ordinator of the British Poles campaign, who explained the reasons behind the drive and how you can find out what your local MPs stand is on the Polish and immigration issues.

We’re also looking at the winners of Fryderyki 2015 – an equivalent of Brit and Classic Brit Awards – and sharing our thoughts and feelings on “Ashes and Diamonds” as part of the Kinoteka Film Festival.
