It’ll be 10 years this week (Thu 01/05/14) since Poland joined European Union and was allowed free movement rights across the borders. We’re looking at those past years and what Poland’s achieved in that time. I want to live like common people” – one Polish MP decides to taste the life of an average immigrant in London. He’s going to stay there for a month, looking for a job with enough money to cover only a weekly stay. Getting in touch with voters or simply another pre-election twist?

Filipinki & Alibabki – paving the way for girls’ bands, those two unique at the time groups had emerged from high school choirs to take the Polish music scene by storm. Unlike the modern girls’ bands with each and every group member being different, Filipinki & Alibabki wore the same outfits, same hair cut and none of them followed a solo career, making the groups last for over decades.

We’re also looking at some interesting statistics when it comes to Poles getting engaged with charity, volunteering and in general, with the local community.
