Poles Aloud show 2

On the show today: a mixture of news and updates ranging from culture, politics, social through to sport (the Tuesday match of course!), education and language (Polish for beginners).

Every Sunday at 5pm on Somer Valley FM – listen again & Monday at 1pm on Bradley Stoke Radio – listen again

“Walesa. Man of Hope” – UK premier, Mr. Walesa’s turbulent journey back home, dates and times for the film in Bristol’s Cineworld plus other film related news.

Sustainable living – “A world you like – an EU communication campaign for climate action” with its aim of raising awareness about benefits for the EU of moving towards a low-carbon society. We’re going to look at the Polish winner but also at the falling cost of buying an apartment in Poland.

Teacher’s Day in Poland – celebrations to honour teachers for their special contributions in a particular field area, or the community in general.

Football – looking back at the build up to the match, Polish and English fans, the game itself and its aftermath for some (aka Polish national team’s coach – bye bye baby!).

And Poland did manage to win something :) – well done to Szymon Skalski who’s been crowned Red Bull Street Style World Champion.
